Cisco Systems Names Electronic Systems Engineer as Technology Solution Specialist

Virginia Beach, Virginia – July 28 2010 – Electronic Systems, Inc. (ESI) is pleased to announce that Chris Bock, Solutions Architect , has achieved designation as a Cisco Systems Data Center Technology Solution Specialist (TSS).
As a Technology Solution Specialist, Chris is recognized by Cisco as being a professional who can expertly explain, demonstrate, and design a technical solution within a particular technology, as well as escalate and facilitate post-sales issues during the implementation phase. This achievement demonstrates Chris's unique ability to design and position complex data center solutions to meet customers' unique business requirements.
“Chris joins a very select group of engineers who have demonstrated their knowledge and experience with intricate data center environments. He is able to identify the proper solution and directly tie it to a customer's financial success and business relevance,” said Kurt Schmelz, President of ESI's Information Solutions Group. “ESI's engineers are dedicated to staying at the forefront of technology and we are proud that Chris is the first designated data center TSS in our region.”
Chris joined ESI as a network engineer in 2006. Prior to joining the company, he held various positions in the information technology industry that include time spent as a network engineer for Direct Holdings and government contract work for the Department of Transportation. Chris received his Associate's degree in electronics engineering. In addition to the TSS designation, Chris has also earned his CCNA, CCDA, and several design certifications for Cisco application delivery and computing technologies. |
